Recently, CTG Brasil, in partnership with the Senai Institute for Innovation in Biomass (ISI Biomassa, in Portuguese), donated 700 liters of 70° alcohol to the Lar São Francisco de Assis Association in Providência de Deus, in Ilha Solteira and another 300 liters of the product to the Beneficent Society of Auxiliadora Hospital, in Três Lagoas. Together, the two institutions serve 22 municipalities in regions close to Jupiá and Ilha Solteira HPPs.
In order to contribute to the fight against the new coronavirus in our communities at this important moment, over the next three months, a total of 18,000 liters of 70° GL gel and liquid alcohol will be produced by ISI Biomassa. Of this total, 12 thousand will be delivered weekly to the two hospitals.
Part of the product will also be used to clean our plants in order to preserve the health of our professionals.
“Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working on several fronts to help preserve the health of our employees and the communities where our plants are located. It is our role as a responsible company, to join efforts with partner companies, using our financial resources to fight this disease”, explains Salete da Hora, Director of Brand, Communication and Sustainability.
In the first batch, 700 liters of 70° alcohol were delivered on May 26th, to the the Lar São Francisco de Assis Association in Providência de Deus. The event was attended by Otávio Gomes, mayor of Ilha Solteira, Ângelo Guerreiro, mayor of Três Lagoas, and Fábio Dourado, mayor of Itapura.

In Três Lagoas, 300 liters of the product were delivered to the Beneficent Society of Auxiliadora Hospital last Friday, May 22nd.
